Yip presented research from his group titled "Advancing Membrane Technologies for Sustainable Nitrogen and Phosphorous Recovery from Human Urine: A Green Engineering Approach" at an invited talk at the ACS Spring 2021 National Meeting. He spoke at the Great Achievements in ES&T: James J. Morgan Environmental Science & Technology Early Career Award Symposium (2020), chaired by editors-in-chief of ES&T and ES&T Letters, Drs. Julie Zimmerman and Bryan Brooks, respectively.
