Yip's collaborative research article with Universität Bremen has been accepted for publication in Renewable Energy.
The study analyzed the achieveable energy efficiency of thermally regenerative salinity gradient power using distillation to reconstitute the chemical potential difference, and found that the selection of a salt solution with high boiling point elevation is advantageous for enhancing performance by minimizing the number of distillation effects.
