Yip's critical review on salinity gradient energy with co-authors Doriano Brogioli, Bert Hamelers, and Kitty Nijmeijer has been accepted for publication in Environmental Science and Technology.
The article simultaneously reviewed the three foremost salinity gradient energy technologies: pressure retarded osmosis, reverse electrodialysis, and accumulator mixing across the entire spectrum of salinity gradients — natural, anthropogenic, and engineered — to achieve an unprecedented first in breadth and depth is assessment.
