Sam is a former software engineer pivoting into climate tech. His interests include renewable energy, desalination, carbon capture and utilization, and climate modeling. Within the Yip Lab, he is hoping to use his computational background to contribute to brine valorization processes. In his spare time, Sam likes to play & hear music, play and watch basketball, and to read science fiction.
