B.S. Student, Earth and Environmental Engineering, Columbia University
Max is an undergraduate student who joined the Yip Lab in June 2022. He is interested in the globe's renewable energy transition and lithium recovery. He is currently working on understanding the transport properties of ion-exchange membranes, increasing the selectivity of lithium transport during electrodialysis. Max is majoring in Earth and Environmental Engineering and minoring in Political Science.
Outside of academics, Max enjoys swimming, eating delicious food, public policy, and planting trees.
