Brian joined the Yip Lab in fall 2023, where his current research focus is on elucidating key mechanisms that govern the behavior of switchable solvents in applications related to sustainability. Prior to Columbia, Brian's past research had been on fabricating reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes for improved desalination and wastewater treatment.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys learning languages, hiking, and playing racquet sports.
